Where Are We?
Although Ecoturismo Kuyimá is a
rural organization of the Ejido Luis Echeverría in San Ignacio
Lagoon, for commercial purposes long ago we moved headquartes to San Ignacio,
a picturesque town founded in the XVIIIth century by Jesuit
missionaries in the middle of the desert.
Where is San Ignacio located?
It is in the center of the Baja
California Peninsula, in Baja California Sur, the southern state, 856 km
(535 miles) south of the San Ysidro (California)-Tijuana border
and 850 km (531 miles) north of Cabo San Lucas, the southern tip of
the peninsula. Its natural environment is impressive, for it is an
actual oasis in the middle of the desert!
Read more on how
to get to San Ignacio.
Most of our programs depart from
San Ignacio town, however, we can arrange picking you up at
Aeropuerto de Loreto, the nearest international airport, or we can
help you to find your way to San Ignacio or the San Ignacio Lagoon
either by public transportation or driving from anywhere in between
San Diego, California, and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
