Wonderful whale watching Excellent experience with Kuyima whale watching. They captain and guide , Alejandro, were very respectful of the whales and calves, yet we were able to see many close to our boat and some calves even came next to our boat allowing us to pet them!! The cabins were very comfortable, cozy beds with the waves as our sound machine. Everything was very clean, and tastefully decorated. The food was excellent and free margarita happy hour an added delight. Alejandro was a superb guide, respectful of all the staff, giving them much credit for the wonderful experience. You felt like you joined their lovely family. Our 3 day visit included trips to visit the whales, a fascinating visit to salt flats and, mangrove bird sanctuary . The oyster farm was closed (we were very late in the season, but none the less, they were able to serve us fresh delicious oysters. Alejandro spoke of the origins of the Kuyima, the original whale watching camp and emphasized their mission to protect the environment and minimize their impact. Despite recent tariffs , we never encountered any hostility and felt very welcome. I would highly recommend this organization and will cherish the memories for a lifetime.

Best eco resort in Mexico This was a well planned ecotourist endeavor. From the food to the toilets the facilities were designed to have the least impact of the area. The people who ran the resort were knowledgable in the delicate ecosystem that they inhabited and made extra steps to ensure it's sustainability. And the whale watching was great too!

Campo tendato per vedere le balene Questa vallutazione riguarda il campo tendato (un camping), e non la baia di San Ignacio con le balene, che merita 10 stelle. Si tratta di un piccolo villaggio (una dozzina di tende per turisti e qualcuna in più per gli studiosi), con una costruzione per il ristorante, un piccolo negozio di souvenirs, e servizi igienici tipo camping. Le tende sono confortevoli (si sta in piedi, due brandine, sacchi a pelo leggeri, un lenzuolo ripiegato nel sacco a pelo). Peccato che il lenzuolo non sia cucito a forma di sacco, per cui si appallottola e non serve a niente. Nelle tende è opportuno portarsi una luce elettrica. Il ristorante è più che sufficiente, e la prima colazione è abbondante. Ovviamente il voto tiene conto della particolarità di questo luogo, a circa un'ora di sterrato dal paese di san Ignacio. In febbraio il sacco a pelo era troppo leggero. Personale cortesissimo.

Put this on your bucket list! Experiencing the San Ignacio Lagoon with Kuyima is a once in a lifetime experience. Everyone who works at Kuyima is SO INCREDIBLY warm and helpful. They take immense pride in the work they do and the environment they live in. And you're likely to meet wonderful people in your group...I certainly did! I can't recommend this experience highly enough!

forfait tente et excursion baleines pour aller au camp kuyima si vous y aller avec votre voiture pas besoin de 4/4 mais route perdue comme au bout du monde pour y aller et au milieu du desert.avisez l agence kuyima a san ignacio avant votre depart. tentes avec tout ce quil faut pour dormir.repas et petit dejeuner correct. sortie inoubliable avec des dizaines de baleines mais pour nous mer agitee car vent et frayeur avec bateau qui tombait en panne en pleine mer au milieu des baleines le moteur a pludieurs reprises s arretait et avait peine a redemarrer.tres angoissant pour moi cela a gache un peu l excursion pour moi.le guide a appele de l aide et pour le retour le bateau s est arrete avant et un bus nous a ramene au camp.donc belle sortie mais manque deconfiance au materiel

Unbelievable! The whales are the highlight here. We went out everyday to visit and pet them. Wow, what an experience that was! We ended up paying for an extra trip out on the last day as we hadn't had enough. The staff, the boat captains, the accommodations etc. were all great. It all works. Being removed and unplugged from everything was really special. There is so much wildlife and nature to enjoy. There is no TV etc, so I would recommend bringing a travel game or cards with you if you like that sort of thing.

Sensacional servicio en un lugar único y excelentemente preservado. Estuve en un viaje organizado por Mexicorrerías de visita a Baja California Sur. Teníamos programado un avistamiento de ballenas en la Laguna Bahía de San Ignacio que resultó sensacional. La recepción en la villa de San Ignacio, el traslado a la laguna, las explicaciones previas a la salida a la Laguna Bahía de San Ignacio, el avistamiento de muchísimas ballenas grises y la posterior comida fueron perfectas. Una empresa que ofrece un servicio de una excelencia total.

Escenario de los mil amores Un maravilloso escenario justo frente a la Laguna de San Ignacio es la sede de este campamento ecoturístico sumamente bien concebido y con un personal muy profesional y agradable. Las habitaciones y el centro de campamento están ambos en muy bienas condiciones, son cómodos y todas las instalaciones ecológicas son muy funcionales y adecuadas. La comida es simplemente lo mejor, con una gran calidad de productos, si bien es una propuesta sencilla por la lejanía del sitio, simplemente las langostas, ostiones y demás platillos que ofrecen, son sumamente ricos y abundantes. El personal, como comentaba, es muy profesional, comprometido, alegre y sonriente. Tal vez requieran un pequeño apoyo extra de parte de la empresa en capacitación en términos de interpretación ambiental, pero por lo demás, son personas con quienes deseas hacer amistad por años. No te pierdas de las excursiones que te propongan durante tu estancia, son breves pero muy enriquecedoras y por lo menos haz dos salidas para los avistamientos de ballena

Emozionante!!! Base di partenza per l'avvistamento delle balene! Luogo fantastico. Campo tendato con tende igloo molto comode con brandine lenzuola e sacchi a pelo. Ristorazione buonissima. Il personale che lo gestisce è molto cordiale. Sicuramente da provare.
