- Ground transportation from San Ignacio (round trip)
- INAH permits (entry to the archaeological zone)

The expedition begins at Rancho Guadalupe or at the San Francisco Lodge.
Depending on the weather, the fitness of the travelers, and the available time, up to 5 level I and II sites can be visited, according to INAH.
Expeditions can be trekking, in which case one mule is required for every three visitors.
It is necessary to sign a liability release form and fill out a medical and special needs form.
