The expedition starts at Rancho Guadalupe and ends at Rancho San Francisco. Depending on weather conditions, travelers and time available, up to 12 level I, II and III sites can be visited according to INAH.
Expeditions can be trekking, in which case one mule is required for every three visitors.
It is necessary to sign a liability release form and fill out a medical and special needs form.
