• Filming without INAH authorization is not allowed. For commercial or promotional filming, you must request the appropriate permit from INAH.

1-DAY EXCURSIONS TO THE CAVE PAINTINGS 

To ensure an organized, high-quality experience for our guests, Kuyimá has established the following reservation and cancellation policies for our 1-day excursions to the rock art sites of the Sierra de San Francisco, visiting the caves “El Ratón” and “El Palmarito.”

The package includes:

• Local guides
• Bilingual naturalist guide
• Box lunch
• INAH permit for access to archaeological sites
• Permit for non-professional photo/video recording
• CONANP permit for access to protected natural areas
• Round-trip transportation: San Ignacio – Santa Marta – San Ignacio.

RESERVATIONS

1. As this activity takes place in a Protected Natural Area, visit dates are subject to official authorization by the competent authorities.
    
2. Reservations can be made up to 2 years in advance.
    
3. Prices are subject to change without notice, except for reservations already confirmed with a deposit.
    
4. Package valid year-round, subject to transportation availability.
    
5. Maximum capacity: unlimited, subject to transportation availability.
    
6. Rates vary depending on group size; minimum 2 people.
    
7. Kuyimá offers, for those booking well in advance, the option to hold a date for up to 3 months without immediate payment. However, at least one month before the excursion, a non-refundable deposit of $1,470 MXN per person must be made via bank deposit or transfer to confirm the reservation.
    

Payment options for the remaining balance:

• Final payment: at least 1 day before arrival.
   

If the client does not meet the payment deadlines, Kuyimá reserves the right to cancel the reservation without refund and release the space to other interested parties. This especially applies if the balance is unpaid at least 1 day before the start of the service.

If we are unable to contact the client using the provided methods (phone, email, or other official channels), and after several attempts without response within a reasonable timeframe, it will be understood that the client has forfeited the reservation, and it will be canceled under the same terms. In such cases, previous payments are non-refundable, unless Kuyimá, at its sole discretion, determines that there were justified and documented reasons from the client.

Once the reservation is confirmed, a personal information form and liability waiver will be sent.

We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen events (illness, natural disasters, pandemics, or personal decisions).

1. Payment methods: bank transfer, deposit, credit or debit card. Reservations and payments can also be made directly through the secure payment gateway on our official website. Foreign checks are not accepted.
    

WAITLIST:

• If the requested date is unavailable, clients may be added to a waitlist, managed in order of request.
   
• If a spot opens, we will contact clients in the order of the waitlist.
   

By making a payment, the client accepts the terms and conditions stated here.

CANCELLATIONS

16. Kuyimá reserves the right to modify or suspend the service due to force majeure (extreme weather, health regulations, or other factors beyond our control).
17. In extraordinary events beyond Kuyimá’s or the client’s control (health emergencies, pandemics, natural disasters, road closures, etc.):

• The service may be rescheduled for another date within the same or following year, subject to availability and current rates. If rescheduled for a later season, the client must cover any rate difference.
   
• If the client cannot reschedule, a credit valid for up to one year may be issued in the reservation holder’s name.
   
• Only if rescheduling or using the credit is not possible will a partial refund be considered, deducting the non-refundable deposit from the total amount paid.
   

If the service is canceled due to weather while already on site:
18. Rescheduling is valid for up to one year, subject to availability.

NO SHOW:

19. Failure to show up on the scheduled date will result in full forfeiture of paid amounts.

• Cancellation for personal reasons less than 5 days before arrival is non-refundable.
   

VOLUNTARY CANCELLATIONS:

20. More than 5 days before arrival: payments made, excluding the non-refundable deposit, may be refunded.
21. Less than 5 days before arrival: no refunds.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email and will be processed during business hours only. Cancellation requests must be sent to: info@kuyima.com.

1. Reducing the number of people in a reservation is considered a partial cancellation and the same policies apply.
    
2. All refunds will be processed within 30 business days of approval.

• For international payments, please note all prices are in Mexican pesos (MXN). Exchange rates are set by your bank or card issuer and may vary. Kuyimá does not apply conversions or adjustments to exchange rates.
