Reservation Policies
KUYIMÁ CABINS LODGING POLICY
To ensure an organized and high-quality experience for our guests, Kuyimá has established the following reservation and cancellation policies for our cabin package.
CABIN LODGING SERVICE INCLUDES:
One night of lodging in a double-occupancy cabin (if a guest prefers not to share, the double occupancy rate will be charged).
2 single beds per cabin
Bedding (sheets, pillows, blanket, and additional cover)
1 towel per guest
Access to outdoor bathrooms and showers
Reservations
As we operate within a Protected Natural Area, visit dates are subject to the periods officially authorized by the competent authority.
Reservations may be made up to 2 years in advance.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice, except for reservations already confirmed with a deposit.
The service is available during the established period from April 15 to January 19. Please check the official calendar on our website or request it directly before booking.
Service validity period: April 15 to January 19.
Maximum capacity: 20 people in double occupancy.
Rates:
Single or double occupancy: $1,180 MXN
Triple or family occupancy: $1,580 MXN
Kitchen use fee per single/double cabin: $180 MXN
Kitchen use fee per triple/family cabin: $220 MXN
Transportation from San Ignacio to the lagoon is not included in this package. If you wish to add this service, please request it at least 1 day before your arrival.
Once the reservation is confirmed, a personal information form and liability waiver will be sent.
We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen events (illness, natural disasters, pandemics, or personal decisions).
Payment methods: bank transfer, deposit, credit or debit card. Reservations and payments may also be made through the secure payment gateway on our official website. Foreign checks are not accepted.
Waitlist:
If the requested date is not available, clients may be added to a waitlist managed in order of request.
If a spot becomes available, clients will be contacted in the order they were registered.
By making payment, the client accepts the terms and conditions stated herein.
Balance payment option
Bank transfer, deposit, cash (MXN/USD), credit or debit card.
For international payments, please note that all prices are listed in Mexican pesos (MXN). Exchange rates are determined by your bank or card issuer and may vary. Kuyimá does not apply any conversion or adjustment.

Cancellations
Kuyimá reserves the right to modify or suspend the service due to force majeure (extreme weather, health measures, or other factors beyond our control).
In case of extraordinary events beyond the control of both the client and Kuyimá, such as health emergencies, pandemics, natural disasters, roadblocks, or other uncontrollable situations:
The service may be rescheduled for a new date within the same or the following year, subject to availability and current rates. If rescheduled for a later season, the client must pay the difference if rates have changed.
If the client cannot reschedule, a credit valid for up to one year may be issued in the name of the reservation holder for future use.
Only if rescheduling or credit use is not possible will a partial refund of up to 80% be considered, based on unused services and administrative expenses incurred. If the service is canceled due to weather while already on-site:
The visit may be rescheduled for the same or following year, subject to availability and current rates.
If not rescheduled, 80% of the unused portion will be refunded.
Rescheduling: valid for up to one year, subject to availability.
No-show:
Not showing up on the scheduled date will result in the total loss of the amount paid.
Voluntary cancellations:
More than 7 days before arrival: payments made, excluding the non-refundable deposit, may be refunded.
Less than 7 days before arrival: no refunds.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email and will only be processed during business hours.

Reducing the number of people in a reservation is considered a partial cancellation and the same policies apply.
All refunds will be processed within 30 business days of approval.

Out of respect for the local wildlife and to maintain the facilities, we do not allow pets in the lodging area.
Do the cabins have heating?
No, our cabins do not have heating, but we provide extra blankets to ensure your comfort during the night.
Can I choose between a single or double bed?
The cabins are equipped with two single beds. If you need a different setup, please check with us before booking.
How is the cleaning of the cabins and tents handled?
The cabins and camping areas are cleaned and inspected before each arrival. We ask our guests to keep things tidy and help us maintain a clean environment.
Are there lockers or safes?
We do not have individual lockers. We recommend bringing only what you need and keeping your valuables with you.
Can I cook in the lodging area?
Open fires and cooking inside the cabins or tents are not allowed. We have a restaurant and dining area for your convenience.
Can I stay for multiple nights?
Of course! You can book several nights. We also offer special packages for longer stays.
What happens if it rains during my stay?
Our tents are waterproof and securely set up. We also have covered common areas where you can take shelter.
Is there lighting in the camping area?
Yes, we have basic lighting along the paths and common areas. We recommend bringing a flashlight for moving around at night.
How are the beds arranged in double and triple tents?
Double tents include two single beds, and triple tents include three single beds. If you need a different setup, we can discuss it with you.
How close are the bathrooms to the camping area?
The bathrooms and showers are just a few meters away from the camping and cabin areas, well-lit and easily accessible.
Can I stay with children?
Yes, our spaces are ideal for families. We always recommend supervising children.
Do you provide towels?
We provide one towel per person, but you can also bring your own personal towel.
