You’ll be staying in a comfortable tent set up in a scenic natural setting, surrounded by fresh air, starry skies, and the peaceful sounds of the outdoors. Our campsite offers the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Whether you’re looking to explore nearby trails, or simply stay in front of the ocean, this is your chance to escape the routine and enjoy the simplicity of nature. Tents are fully equipped with cozy bedding, and essential camping gear. Clean shared bathrooms and showers are available on site. Ideal for couples, solo travelers, or small groups seeking a unique stay under the stars.

In order to ensure an organized and high-quality experience for our guests, Kuyimá has established the following reservation and cancellation policies for our lodging services.

Tent camping service includes:

● One-night stay in a tent for double occupancy (in cases where the client does not wish to share with another guest, the cost for double occupancy must be covered).

● Two single beds per tent.

● Bedding (sheets, pillows, blanket, and an additional blanket).

● One towel per guest.

● Access to outdoor restrooms and showers.

Campsite space service includes:

● Campsite space of approximately 16 m².

● Coffee or hot water for tea (maximum 10 oz cup or mug).

● Access to restrooms and showers.

Please note:

● We do not offer waste disposal service.

● We do not offer water refill service.

● There is no electricity at the campsites.

Since we operate within a Protected Natural Area, visit dates are subject to periods officially authorized by the competent authority.

● Reservations can be made up to 2 years in advance.

● Prices are subject to change without prior notice, except for reservations already confirmed with a deposit.

● Services are offered on pre-established dates. We recommend checking the official calendar on our website or requesting it before making your reservation.

● Valid period for this service: February 1 to March 30.

● Maximum capacity: 20 people in double occupancy.

Rates:

● Double occupancy tent: $2,200 MXN

● Triple occupancy: $2,901 MXN

● Campsite space: Included with the consumption of 2 meals and 1 whale watching tour ($2,310 MXN).

Transportation from San Ignacio to the Lagoon is not included in this package. If you wish to book this service, you must do so no later than 7 days before your arrival.

Kuyimá offers the option to safeguard your vehicle during your stay for your convenience.

However, this service is subject to availability and is offered solely as a storage space. Kuyimá is not responsible for theft, damage, loss, or any incident during the use of this service. Vehicle storage is at the visitor’s own risk.

● If booking well in advance, Kuyimá allows you to hold your date for up to 3 months without immediate payment. However, by August of the year before your visit, you must make a non-refundable deposit of $440 MXN to confirm your reservation.

● Final payment: at least 7 days before arrival.

If another client shows interest in the same date, the client with the initial reservation will have priority, but preference will be given to those willing to make a payment.

If payment deadlines are not met, Kuyimá reserves the right to cancel the reservation without refund. If the outstanding balance is not paid at least 15 days before the service, the reservation will be canceled. Inability to contact the client after multiple attempts will be considered cancellation.

After confirming the reservation, a form with personal information and a liability waiver will be sent.

We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unexpected events (illness, natural disasters, pandemics, personal decisions).

Payment methods: Bank transfer, deposit, credit or debit card. You can also pay through our secure online payment gateway on our website. Foreign checks are not accepted.

Waiting list: If no availability exists for the requested date, you can be added to a waiting list, which will be managed in order of request.

By making payment, the client accepts the terms and conditions outlined here.

Kuyimá reserves the right to modify or suspend services due to force majeure (extreme weather, health regulations, or other factors beyond our control).

In extraordinary events beyond the control of the client and Kuyimá (e.g., health emergencies, pandemics, natural disasters, roadblocks):

● Services can be rescheduled within the same year or the following year, subject to availability and current rates.

● If rescheduling is not possible, a credit valid for up to one year may be issued in the name of the reservation holder.

● Only if neither rescheduling nor using the credit is possible, a partial refund of up to 80% may be issued, depending on services not rendered and administrative costs.

● If service is suspended on-site due to weather:

○ The visit can be rescheduled.

○ If not rescheduled, 80% of the amount for services not provided will be refunded.

No Show: Not showing up on the scheduled date results in total loss of the amount paid.

Voluntary cancellations:

● More than 30 days before arrival: payments (except non-refundable deposit) will be refunded.

● Less than 30 days before arrival: no refunds.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to: info@kuyima.com and processed during business hours.

Reduction in the number of persons in a reservation is considered a partial cancellation and subject to the same criteria.

Refunds will be processed within 30 business days after approval.
